Cooper Colony Estates is one of the oldest areas of Cooper City. Homes here began being built back in 1955 and continued through 2008. Cooper Colony Estates is also one of the largest subdivisions with 1049 homes and it’s located in the center of Cooper City. Cooper Colony Estates consists of attached and detached single family homes. The simple way to describe the attached single family homes is to equate them to a duplex. However, the building and the land is split into two separate lots, so there is two owners, one for the left lot and one for the right lot. The famous Cooper City rock wall decorates the entrance from Griffin Rd on 90th Ave. City Hall can be found in the center of this subdivision.
The only condominium subdivision in Cooper City is called Baffy Woods and it’s located within Cooper Colony Estates right on 90th Ave. All 55 units have great views of the Cooper Colony Golf and Country Club. Built in 1970, Baffy Woods condominiums include 1 and 2 bedroom units.
